Just do the thing already!!
There’s so much joy & freedom when you finally say YES!

I’ve been wanting to send you this letter for days but life has been beautifully busy. I spent the past week sending snail mail to The Creative Club and sold some of my paintings and photography locally. And tomorrow, after hosting a call for paying subscribers, I’ll be on a flight to Italy for our community’s first creative retreat!
This might sound like a to-do list to you, but to me, it’s a realization that I’ve finally done it: THE THING. My calling. My assignment.
A few months ago, I finally got annoyed with myself! I was tired of not walking in my purpose and sick of feeling stagnant. I was doing a lot of things simply because they were the smart choice, and I knew it was time to break out of that rut!! So, I did the thing I’ve been dreaming about for years: becoming a novelist, artist, and host of a creative community!!
It was terrifying, by the way. When I was a business coach, I’d convinced myself that people only liked me because I helped them make money. A ridiculous thought, I know! But having this belief meant I had to push past the fears that my gifts and creativity weren’t enough!!
I prepared to fail, honestly. But I didn’t. I sold my art. I launched the club. I mailed the letters. I pitched the books. And this July became my largest grossing revenue month since leaving Instagram. It’s also the month I enjoyed life the most — laughed a lot, took creative classes almost daily, and felt like every inch of my dull life had been filled in with color!
I have so much to want to share about this — thoughts on creative freedom, abundance, designing a life you absolutely adore!! And I’ll share all of it in coming weeks!! But before I head off for Italy, I just wanted to remind you of this. THE WORLD NEEDS YOUR ART. YOUR IDEAS. YOUR CREATIVITY! So please, friend, please do the thing! There’s so much joy on the other end of finally saying YES!
